Review: Monstrous Regiment

Monstrous Regiment
Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Pratchett shines again as he manages to expose the absurdity of war, propaganda, religious dogmas, and artificially imposed gender roles without actually sounding preachy and annoying. Halfway through the book the plot starts getting a bit too predictable as the elements start clicking together; however, it is a fun and thought-provoking read and I enjoyed it very much.
